The much anticipated day after Thanksgiving had finally arrived! It was time to head off to the "Happiest Place on Earth". After 3 long years, it was our family trip to Disney World!
The day started off early for me, I had to work! But, I got off really early, headed home to finish packing, give Josh a haircut, then head to the airport.
Brad, Shan, Josh, and I got there 4 hours before our plane was scheduled to leave. We thought it would be busy being the day after Thanksgiving, but it turns out it definitely wasn't!
We met the Estes' and set off on waisting time before our flight...
With about an hour and a half left before our flight, we all headed to TGIFriday's for dinner. Mmmmm, it was good!
Bellies full, and nerves for some (including myself), we found our gate and were ready to board!
I haven't flown since our last trip to Disney and the take off scared me more than I'd like to admit! Our flight was a little over two hours. Just enough time to read a little and to take a short nap! It was a smooth flight, with a smooth landing.
Once we landed in Orlando, got our luggage, we set off through the airport to find the Magical Express.
Finally, the last leg of our journey!
We arrived at the hotel around 11:30pm, Florida time.
Brad and I still hadn't told our family the sex of our baby, and since it was so late, we gave them the option of waiting, or going ahead and telling them. It was a unanimous vote, they wanted to know now!
Shan read our little "poem" (I'll post it once we get home from our trip).
As you can tell by the faces you can see....everyone was shocked and excited.
IT'S A GIRL!
I will be posting everything a day behind, but stay posted for Day 1!
