Melissa and I met after high school when we both worked at Staples. We hit it off instantly!
After my wedding (she was one of my bridesmaids), we lost contact, but thanks to good ole Facebook, found each other again. She, however, had moved all the way to Ohio!
When she made plans to come visit Texas for two weeks, she wanted to make time to meet Zoey and I. Wednesday we met at Starbucks.
A mutual friend of ours, Lauren, also came.
Zoey captured their hearts, as she does everyone that meets her :)
We had a wonderful visit and I am so thankful Melissa made time for us!
Hopefully it won't be another 3 years before we see each other again!
Lindsey and I met on our first day of high school. Since we both had been home schooled, we had a lot in common and quickly became friends.
Lindsey was also one of my bridesmaids and was attending Texas A&M, when she finished there she went to law school at Tech. We stayed in touch as much as we could. After she got married in 2009, she and her husband took a job that moved them to Washington, D.C. It has been probably 2yrs since we last saw each other...way to long!
Earlier this week, she texted me and said that she was coming to town for a wedding and really wanted to see Zoey and I. I was SO excited!
Lindsey and her mom came over Friday afternoon. We had a wonderful visit!
I enjoyed seeing these girls so much, and of course showing off Zoey!
I really hope we are able to see each other sooner this time around!
