Memorial Day

 

Memorial Day means a lot more to me now that I have felt the loss of two friends that died defending our freedom.

Today I remembered Shawn McNabb and J.D. Emmard.

Mom invited everyone over for dinner at the house on Memorial Day evening.

Can you tell our family is Rangers fans??

 Brynn really loved the desert that mom made...she didn't know she could eat the ice cream cone, but wanted all the chocolate pudding that was inside it!

 After dinner we all went outside!

Brynn of course, was never too far away from Zoey!

 Everyone spread out to play...

 Of course, with rowdy kids playing ball, someone had to get hurt!

I was the one to get hurt this time! But the wiffle ball that hit me, wasn't thrown by a rowdy kid...It was hit by my eldest brother-in-law, Rob. It hurt sooo bad!
