Yesterday was Zoey's 12 month check up! I was DREADING this one because she had to get her first round of shots since her 6month checkup...and she is a bit more dramatic these days!
Here are her growth stats at 12months:
Height: 30 1/2" (91%)
Weight: 22lbs. 11oz (85%)
Head Circumference: 45.7cm (70%)
She is now taller than she is wide! Haha!
(I didn't have time to get a picture in her cute outfit, so I had to use this one!)
The nurse warned us that the 3 shots she was getting were stingers...oh boy!
It was AWFUL! For the first time I cried right along with her!
Side note: we have always said that she is a strong little girl and every time she gets shots, the nurses have a hard time holding her legs down because of her strength...soccer player maybe??
As soon as I picked her up, she stopped crying and just cuddled for few minutes!
The doctor commented on how swollen and red her gums were...
...and this morning I could see myself how swollen they are due to her crying all morning! I feel so bad for her!
All in all though, she got a clean bill of health and for that we are thankful!
