First Swim

In a few days, we will be taking Zoey to a swimming pool. Like all new things, I figured she would hate it, so I decided to get the blow up pool out to introduce it to her.

I was right, she cried like she had never set foot in water before.

People might thing I am wrong for doing it, but I left her there, and let her cry. I know my child well enough to know that once she gets all her crying out, she will give whatever it is a try, and like it.

 After SEVERAL minutes, she loosened up a little, sat down, and "played". She would still whine some, but I assured her she was fine.

 She really liked leaning over the side and letting the water fall out, while she picked grass! Haha!

 I wouldn't say she LOVED it by the time we went in for a nap, but she at least was sitting and moving around it.

 After lunch we gave it another try. It was basically the same as the first. Oh well, I just keep telling myself it's all new to her and she will get used to it. What kid doesn't love to swim...eventually?

At least I got some adorable pictures with her swimsuit on!
