The end of soccer season was Saturday. Barrett's game was at 9am and since Zoey and I still hadn't made it to one of his, we bundled up and headed to the field. Last soccer games that we went to, we were so hot and sweaty, this time we were bundled and had hot coffee in hand.
Barrett and his team are very young and still learning the game.
But as a true athlete, he takes the game very seriously...it makes my heart so happy to see my nephews playing!!
The girls however, were content to sit and chit-chat. Hopefully one day they'll be interested in the wonderful game of soccer!
Blake's game was at noon. We didn't intend on going to that game, but we ended up there anyway. I am very thankful we did as Blake scored his very first goal! To say I am a proud aunt would be an understatement!
Happy end of soccer season, hopefully some will choose to play again next year =}
