Zoey loves Story Time at our local library. She also loves the Fancy Nancy books.
When Ms Doreen, the lady that does Story Time, said she was throwing a Fancy Nancy Tea Party, we definitely wanted to go.
Zoey has been looking forward to it and today was the day. A tutu, feather boa, and tiara were a must!
It is Fancy Nancy after all!
A Cinderella bun too, of course!
The Tea Party was for girls ages 4-8 and two guests.
Gram came with us!
After pictures, we had mother/daughter craft time.
Zoey's friend Megan was there with her mom and grandma.
Ms. Doreen read two Fancy Nancy books.
Then it was time for refreshments
Fruit parfaits, little tea sandwiches, and tiny little lemon bundt cakes. We drank tea (of course) or lemonade.
When we were done eating, the girls made crafts for the moms...and moms were NOT allowed to help, but the grandma's could.
We had so much fun! I love doing special things like this with my daughter...and my mom!
It's tiring being so fancy!
