*Updates*

We have been hard at work here at the Killough house!
Once we got the living room painted, I decided to take my friends advice and paint the fireplace a rustic blue color, to go along with the old Americana theme. It turned out perfect and exactly like I had envisioned! Thanks to my dad's craftiness, he made the rustic wood frame for the mirror. It all tied together perfectly! Last weekend we went to Canton and I found a ladder with the same old wood like my frame. I got it and it makes a perfect blanket holder! I'm so excited with how my living room is coming together!
Next it was time to get to work on the guest bathroom. When we moved, we decided we needed newer, nicer bathroom decor. The shower curtain is white with pale blue and a slate grey pattern. Since the entire house was painted a powder blue, the whole bathroom just blended together. I had decided early on that I wanted to paint it a dark khaki color...but since the fire place turned out so good, I decided to take Leigh Ann's advice yet again, and go with an accent wall of plum. At first I thought that the plum and khaki just made it too dark, but its growing on me and will probably stay the color it is.
Sorry there is no before picture :( I was slacking that day!
