Epcot- The Countries

Our second trip to Epcot was to visit all of the countries. To some it is boring, but it has become one of my favorite places.
First stop, London.
I don't know how people ever use these telephone booths, there is NO air in them!
I don't know if the cottages in London really look like this, but if they do, I would love to visit them! They are so cute and very picturesque!
When we left London, we soon found ourselves in France.
We saw Belle and the French version of Santa Clause...known as Pierre Noel.
Our next stop was Italy.
Behind us was a little "lake" where you could take a Gondola ride.
Further into Italy, we found a wonderful picture spot (imagine that) and lots of Italian restaurants.
Including a wonderful smelling pizzeria!
Onward to Germany.
We had lunch here in Germany! I was so excited because I knew there would be sauerkraut! I wasn't let down! The food was served buffet style. It was mostly German food, but lots of American food as well. It was so good and we all left with absolutely no room left in our stomachs!
While we ate, a German musical group played for us.
One of their numbers were done on these instruments. I don't know the name of these but I recognized them from the Ricola commercials!
China was our final stop.
We spent quite awhile there. In the Chinese store, we all got a pair of Jade earrings. I also got a pair of Chinese silk house shoes!
Earlier in the day, we had gotten fast passes to Soarin. We had all heard great reviews on this ride. It said if you had a fear of heights, you shouldn't ride it. But I didn't listen, I rode anyways.
There are 3 rows of chairs in front of an Imax screen. The three rows are raised on top of each other and moved closer to the screen. Then you go "soaring" over Napa Valley, Yosemite National Park, the ocean, and a few other places in California. Thankfully we were only in the middle row or I think I would've had my eyes closed the whole time!
But it was a pretty good ride and I am sure I'd ride it again!
