Mother's Day Part 2- Celebrating

After church on Sunday, we went to lunch with Brad's family. Then it was home for naps...for Zoey, mommy, and daddy.
That didn't work out so well! Zoey had had such a busy morning, was all off her schedule and just couldn't settle down for a nap.
So, tired and all, we loaded up and headed to the McIntire house for dinner. Shannon had prepared the main dishes, Susan opened her house, and Stephanie and I brought the deserts. All so that mom didn't have to do anything but enjoy Mother's Day.
As soon as I got there, the kids wanted to hold Zoey, so they took turns.
(I love how Barrett is just staring at her and you can see Brynn touching her toes!)
This is such a sweet picture! Aunt Yay-Yay had bought Brynn and Zoey matching dresses so Susan and I planned on then matching. Brynn was so excited when we pointed out their matching dresses!
After we ate, it was time for mom to open her presents. She got lots of really cute clothes and accessories!
Zoey took a little nap and after she was fed, Brynn took over as caregiver! She sat next to her and made sure her paci was in her mouth at all times! She couldn't take her hands off of her!
Zoey had had such a long day with little nap...
...when we got home, Brad and I gave her a bath, I fed her and it was off to bed.
She slept a full 6 hours that night! Happy Mother's Day to me!
It was definitely worth the long day to sleep that long!
