Month 2

Yesterday Zoey Jane turned two months old...CRAZY! I can't believe it. I waited to post a day late because her two month check-up was today.

You are weighing in at 11lbs 12oz. (70%)

Your height is 23.5. (90% she's a tall one!)

Your perfectly round head is 38.8. (70%)

Dr. Waw said you are growing right on track and are very proportional.

You had a lot of first this month.

My favorite was your first real smile! Since then you have been smiling and cooing a lot and I love it!

You are especially happy in the mornings.

At 5 weeks, I painted your toe nails for the first time. They have been polished twice now :)

You sat for several minutes in your Bumbo seat, holding your head up like a champ!

We gave you a bath in your tub without the net, you were hanging over, so we decided to try it with out. You loved it because you could splash with your feet.

You have been sleeping through the night. Sunday night was the first time, then the next night you woke up at 4, but talked yourself back to sleep. This morning you woke up at 6:30, but didn't cry until 7. I am quickly getting used to this!

You have moved up to a size 1 in diapers.

You wear all 0-3 or 3 months clothes.

You LOVE to sleep on your tummy, but only during the day when I can frequently check on you.

You won't sleep on your back unless you're swaddled, even though you usually un-swaddle yourself during the night.

You no longer nap between your 4 and 7 o'clock feeding.

During the day, you still eat every 3 hours. I nurse you once in the morning, then again in the evening and your late night feeding. You get 3 bottles during the afternoon.

I guess that's all my little Zoey Bear!
