On Monday, we set out for Zoey's first road trip. It was only a 3hr drive, but she's never been that far away from home, or spent the night anywhere (other than the hospital or home). I felt the need to document it though!
Jeffrey is due home from his year of deployment in two weeks, so of course Leigh Ann needed her hair done. Brad and I decided to try a few days away from home with Zoey, so we went to her.
Man, you have to pack a LOT when traveling with a baby!
We had to close the back and open the glass because stuff was starting to fall out...and no, I didn't over pack! We used every single thing we took!
Zoey was all ready for her trip.
We got stuck in traffic in Dallas so our 3hr drive, ended up taking 4 1/2 hours!
Zoey did great though! We had to stop to feed her, but other than that, she slept the whole way!
It was a family trip, so of course the pups went with us. They never once bothered Zoey in the back seat! This was the best picture I could get of them while going down the road!
We did lots of shopping while we were in Killeen (I need new clothes for my new job).
One of our stops was Old Navy where we found this adorable baby hat. Zoey really needs a hat for the pool, and it looked SO cute on her, so we got it :)
Leigh Ann was excited that she and Zo now have matching hats!
Zoey did great on our trip.
She slept all night long, thankfully since we were all in the same room for the first time!
Now, we are ready to make the trip again in just two weeks.
We are ready and super excited for Jeffrey to be coming home!

Think how we felt packing for DW when Barry was just 3 months old! The van was full!
