Happy Birthday!

*Note* this blog is several days late, but I have been busy and honestly, I haven't felt like blogging!

Tuesday was Brad's 26th birthday!
First of all, wow, how are we that old already?!
Second, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRADLEY!!!
We have known since baseball season started, that the Rangers were playing the Red Sox, on his actual birthday. We didn't think we would be able to go because the tickets go fast for these premiere games. We did however find tickets on stub hub a few weeks ago and decided to splurge.
I asked mom if she would keep Zoey...just until we got home from the game. Well, she and Brad thought it would be better for Zoey to spend the night at mom and dad's house since she is now sleeping through the night. After taking a couple of days to think about this HUGE step...I decided it would be easier.
So, bags packed, I sent off Zoey with Mom and Brynn for a girls night with Gram and Papa.
I only cried for about 10min.
July 24, is also my cousin Nancy's birthday. I won't tell how many years apart they are though. You're welcome Nancy :)
She and her boyfriend, Doug, were also at the game so we met up...
Earlier when I said we splurged, I mean we splurged. We had amazing seats!
First baseline, 2 sections down from the dug out, 3rd row. You could see the individual blades of grass! Haha, they were really good!
I was also able to get really good pictures of a lot of the players.
Here are a few: Kinsler and Murphy, another one of my Ian, Mike Maddox (pitching coach) and Napoli, and Michael Young.
Oh yes...and one of my new favorites, Yu Darvish! He's so stinkin cute!
 For Mom: Cody Ross
Ian Kinsler was the first up to bat. After a few pitches he was hit with the ball...so automatically sent to first base. He stayed there for a bit and then, according to the first base umpire, was picked off by the pitcher. No one agreed and Ian was furious. He said something, not blogging appropriate, as he was getting up and the ump threw him out.
Kinsler started arguing with the umpire, then Wash came out there...it was a big ordeal but fun to watch and take pictures of.
I was pretty mad that Ian was thrown out in the first inning, but oh well.
In the end, the Red Sox won.
But we still had a great time on our first date since Zoey was born, celebrating Brad's birthday, and FINALLY seeing the Rangers vs Red Sox!
