Our Life Together: Month 4

Our Zoey Jane is 4 months old!

Honestly, how? It seems like she was just born! Or does it? Because some times it seems like she has ALWAYS been in my life!

Either way, I can't believe she's growing so fast!

We had your 4month doctor appointment on Thursday.

You are up to 15.2lbs (75%)

You are now 25 3/4 (95%...no surprise there!)

Your head is 41.2 (70%)

Dr. Waw is very happy with how you are growing!

She did say that your head is a little flat, but no more than any 4month old. She said 15min of tummy time, 3 times a day and you will be fine.

What have you been up to this month?

Well, you eat 8oz every 4 hours. You take 3 two hour naps, and now stay awake for 2 hours after you eat! You reached a major milestone...rolling over, from tummy to back! Although you still refuse to do it in front of me, you constantly roll over in your bed! You can even do it in your sleep, which sometimes results in you waking up because you scared yourself!

You are ALL smiles...except for the 7pm hour...and then you cry until 8.

It's like clock work, and has been for the past month. The worst part is, is that nothing will soothe you :(

Dr. Waw said its a touch of late occurring colic.

Last night you didn't cry, though...so maybe you are on the downhill with it!

You had your first slumber party with Brynn at Gram and Papa's house! It was so hard for Mommy, but you did wonderfully!

You can wear very few 3month outfits, 3-6 are much more comfortable...and even some 6months!

The past couple of days when I have dressed you, I've thought, "Well, this is probably the last time she will wear this!" Last night was the last night you will wear your little white jammies. They have been Mommy and Daddy's favorite, but you are just too long for them now!

You are in a size 2 diaper, and sleeping in over night diapers since you sleep for almost 12hrs everynight.

You have gotten so good at reaching for toys and pulling them to your mouth! Which is good, because Dr. Waw said your gums are a little swollen, early stages of teething. We got you a teething ring and you absolutely LOVE it!

Oh, and since you are rolling over now, we took the bumper pads off your bed! That was a VERY sad day for me!

You're a champ at holding your head up and have a very strong back. You can sit up pretty well with just a single hand on your back...it won't be long before you can hold yourself up all on your own!
