This year, the Easter Bunny came to visit Zoey! Her basket was sitting right outside of her room on Sunday morning. She didn't quite understand why she was getting a gift on, to her, a random Sunday!
She soon decided it didn't matter and sat down to see what it was.
After church we went straight home for lunch and naps. As soon as we, yes we, woke up from our naps, we headed to Gram and Papa's house.
We had a wonderful Easter dinner with all of our favorite foods. Then, since the weather was gorgeous, and the rain hadn't hit yet, everyone went outside for a Easter egg hunt.
This was Zoey's first hunt and she didn't quite understand why we wanted her to put the eggs in her basket and why the older kids were running around like crazy picking them up!
She only got a few...
...then when she realized there was candy inside of the eggs, she started trying to steal eggs from the other baskets that were left unattended!

As you can tell our Easter was nice a laid back day spent with family and rejoicing in the fact that we serve a risen Savior!
