Our weekends in February are jam packed. This is one of the only Saturdays we have free before Elleigh comes. The weather this weekend was unusually warm for February so we decided to take advantage of it and went to the zoo!
We got there early and it was still pretty chilly so the crowds were minimal.
The animals were, however, out and about.
This was the 3rd time Zoey has been to the zoo and she FINALLY enjoyed it and loved seeing the animals!
She was most excited about the elephants and giraffes.
The sun was in her eyes so she had to borrow mommy's sunglasses to properly see the elephants!
Did I mention that the G-Spies went with us also?? Zoey is really starting to love her cousin!!!
She loved that this giraffe kept getting so close to her!
Before we left, we took a ride on the carousel. This was the first time Zoey had ever been on a "ride" of any kind! I didn't know how she would like it, but as long as Brad had his hand on her back, she was as happy as could be!
I am so thankful for this day spent together. It was just what we all needed. In just 5weeks our lives will change, so I want to cherish these last few weeks as a family of 3 (yet anxiously awaiting the arrival of our 4th member)!
