Allergy Doctor Visit

Yesterday we took Zoey back to the allergy doctor. It's the first time we have been since her reaction back in 2012. We  wanted to see if she had grown out of it, or if we would be able to do a baked egg test.

The doctor said that since it had been so long since her last visit, we would start off with another skin test just to see if there was still an allergy and if there was, how severe it was.
The test came back positive, not what we were hoping for, but it was lower than her first test.
Since the reaction to egg was lower, the doctor sent us across the street to have blood drawn. By doing that, Dr. Silvers could get a more accurate reading of the reaction. Getting to do the baked egg test will depend on what the results from the blood tell us.
Getting blood drawn from a 3 year olds arm is absolutely awful!!
She did ok, until the needle went in! A nurse was holding her arm down, while another was drawing the blood, and I was holding the rest of her body down.
When it was over, you would have thought her arm was paralyzed...she would not move it at all!!
Since she went through so much and did such a good job, we took her to the Disney Store and let her pick out a couple of prizes! The Disney Store makes everything better!
Now we wait for the blood work to come back and pray that we will be able to move forward with a baked egg test!
