Brad had today off. Our original plans had been to go to Canton, but per usual, they changed. We decided to still take advantage of the beautiful day and take the girls to the zoo for the first time this year. Zoey was so excited. On the way there she said "Mommy! I am just so excited to go to the zoo again!!".
When we were walking in, we saw this lady and an Owl. We were surprised when we heard the owl only weighed 4 pounds!
Did I mention it was a beautiful day? The animals agreed! We saw so many animals out and playing!
In the reptile building, Zoey was loving every nasty snake, lizard, or weird looking creature that moved! She would wave and talk to them all! I've never seen such active reptiles before!
Zo of course thought she wanted to feed the giraffe's but when we got up there, she freaked! Love these beautiful animals, though!
Our last stop, before the carousal of course, were the gorillas. We were actually able to see quite a few!
We had such a wonderful day together enjoying the animals and the beautiful day!
On our way home we stopped at the new Dairy Queen for Blizzards! Zo LOVED her first blizzard and Elleigh loved the bites we gave her (it is her birthday weekend after all!!)!
Another family fun day in the books!
"Mommy, can we PLEASE come back and see the animals again soon?"

I heart the reptile building
Karlyn is excited for Krosby to visit the zoo one day...and Dairy Queen sounds like a good way to top off a fun day! I keep forgetting about ours, which is probably good!
