Fall Camping

I feel like I can finally say "FALL IS HERE!!"
What better way to kick off the fall season than with a camping trip? We haven't been since Father's Day weekend and we were itching for another trip.
We actually got ourselves a membership at Thousand Trails so now we can go whenever we want.
This weekend, we again met up with Gram and Papa and the McIntire family!!
Saturday morning greeted us with some pretty chilly temperatures. Jackets were a must! It warmed up pretty quickly, so after our breakfast was eaten, and our coffee mugs had been emptied, we headed out on a nature walk.
Mom had gotten the kids nets for butterfly catching and whatever else they wanted to put in there. Zoey was quick to fill hers with rocks and leaves!
Our walk led us to the lake. Zoey emptied out of her net and refilled it with sea shells! She had a blast!
I'm not sure how far we walked but by the time we got back, everyone was tired and hungry.
(that's not sweat on Elleigh Kate's shirt! She spilled her water!)
Sunday morning Susan saw that there was a Geocatch close to us, so we all went on a hunt for that. We all had fun doing that!
We went to the family center to let the kids play, I challenged mom to a game of tether ball, even though I knew better. She beat me...twice!

We had such a fun weekend and it once again ended too soon!
We are ready for our next trip!!
